What is DCC?
The purchase amount is converted from the Merchant’s local currency to the amount in the cardholder’s local currency in real-time at the point of sale. The cardholder can review the exchange rate and any associated fees before deciding which currency they want to pay in.
Although it allows cardholders to pay in their currency, Merchants will receive the funds in the original transaction currency.
